Danish Government decides to open new embassy in Moldova

On the 16th of November 2023, Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, announced the opening of new embassies, including in Moldova.

This happens, as the Danish government has proposed to strengthen the Foreign Service in the coming Financial Act for 2024. The new embassies will open throughout the year of 2024.

Until the opening of the Danish Embassy in Moldova and the official handover of agreements, the embassy in Bucharest will continue to carry out its duties to Moldova.
